Puppy and kitten wellness exam at Perkins Road Pet Clinic

Puppy/Kitten Program in Stillwater, OK

Adding a new puppy or kitten to your family is an exciting time, and getting their health off to the right start matters. Our Puppy/Kitten Program walks new pet parents through a standard preventative care series — and rewards you for completing it.

What the Puppy/Kitten Program Includes

Our goal at Perkins Road Pet Clinic is to keep your new pet healthy through a standard preventative care program consisting of a professional examination, three monthly vaccine boosters, and a fecal check. We recognize the effort it takes to raise a healthy puppy or kitten, and we want to reward you for it through our Love Your Pet Program.

Standard 3-Month Series Requirements

  • Vaccinations: 3 DHLPPC and 2 Lyme and/or Bordetella vaccines for puppies; 3 FVRCP and 2 FeLV and/or Bordetella vaccines for kittens; plus Rabies
  • Fecal examination and appropriate deworming if necessary
  • Feline Leukemia test for kittens
  • Monthly heartworm prevention started during the series

Completing this series earns your pet points toward a 25% savings on a future spay or neuter surgery through the Love Your Pet Program.

What Happens After the Series Is Complete

Once your puppy or kitten finishes their initial vaccine series, they transition into our Adult Program for ongoing annual wellness care, including yearly exams, vaccines, and bloodwork.
